- Hot Pressed Seamless Elbow
The material of long radius elbow is stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel and so on.
Scope of use: sewage treatment, chemical, thermal, aerospace, electric power, paper and other industries.
First of all, according to its radius of curvature, it can be divided into long radius elbow and short radius elbow.
Long radius elbow refers to its radius of curvature equal to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.5D.
Short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R= 1.0d.
Stamping elbow processing is by means of conventional or special stamping equipment power, so that the sheet in the mold directly by the deformation force and deformation, so as to obtain a certain shape, size and performance of the production technology of product parts. Sheet metal, die and equipment are the three elements of stamping. Stamping is a kind of metal cold deformation processing method. So the stamping elbow is called cold stamping or sheet stamping, referred to as stamping. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing), and also belongs to material forming engineering technology.
Stamping elbow is to use the same material with the pipe plate stamping die stamping into a half ring elbow, and then two half ring elbow group welding forming. Due to the different welding standards of all kinds of pipelines, semi-finished products are usually manufactured according to the group of point solid, and welding is carried out according to the grade of pipeline weld in field construction. Therefore, it is also called two half stamping welding elbow. A pipe fitting used to change the direction of a pipe, often at the point where it turns.
- The process flow of elbow
Hot push bend forming beautiful, uniform wall thickness, continuous operation, and suitable for mass production, has become the main forming methods of carbon steel and alloy steel elbow, also applies to certain specifications of the stainless steel elbow forming, the forming process of heating of intermediate frequency or high frequency induction heating (heating ring can be multiple circle or lap), flame and reflective surface, The heating method depends on the requirements and energy status of the forming products.
Stamping forming is a long term used in the mass production of seamless elbow forming technology, has been replaced by hot pressing or other forming technology, used to produce common specifications of elbow, but in some specifications of elbow, its output is small, the wall is too thick or too thin.
Before stamping, the tube blank is placed on the lower die, the inner core and end die are loaded into the tube blank, and the elbow is formed by the constraint of the outer die and the support of the inner die.
Compared with the hot push forming process, the appearance quality of stamping is not as good as that of hot pressing forming process, the outer arc of stamping elbow is in the stretch state in the forming process, because it is suitable for single production and low cost, stamping elbow technology is mainly used for the manufacture of small batch thick wall elbow.
Stamping elbows are divided into cold stamping and hot stamping. Cold stamping or hot stamping is usually selected according to material properties and equipment capacity.
The forming process of cold extrusion elbow is to use a special elbow forming machine to put the tube blank into the outer die. After the upper and lower die are closed, the tube blank moves along the gap between the inner die and the outer die under the push rod to complete the forming process.
The inner and outer die cold extrusion elbow has the advantages of beautiful appearance, uniform wall thickness, small size deviation and so on. It is often used in the forming of stainless steel elbow, especially the forming of thin-wall stainless steel elbow. The precision of the inner and outer die is higher, and the deviation of tube blank wall thickness is also put forward higher requirements.
